Skills development plays a key role in delivering the over-arching aims of the South East Plan by helping realise the social and economic potential of South East England. In order to ensure these policies are delivered it is essential we work together with a range of partners both within and outside the planning system. As part of the Regional Assembly's engagement with regional agencies, a dialogue meeting was held with the Learning and Skills Council on 13 July 2007 in order to ensure alignment of priorities and spending patterns to achieve regional objectives.
