The South East England Regional Housing Board (RHB) is a partnership board chaired by the Regional Assembly. The RHB usually meets four times a year and is tasked with:

The RHB is made up of six Assembly members together with representatives from South East England Development Agency, Government Office, the Housing Corporation and English Partnerships. The RHB receives advice from the Regional Housing Forum and the Housing Advisory Group. Further information is contained in the RHB fact sheet. BackgroundThe RHB was established in January 2003 under the chairmanship of Government Office for the South East (GOSE). In April 2006 the RHB transferred to the Regional Assembly. This followed the Regional Assembly's response to Government proposals to merge the Regional Planning Body and Regional Housing Board, bringing together regional planning and housing responsibilities. GOSE's Regional Director Rolande Anderson wrote to welcome the new RHB Chairman appointed by the Regional Assembly. Membership
