Regional Assembly DissolvedThe South East England Regional Assembly was dissolved on 31 March 2009. This is the result of the Government's plans to streamline regional working arrangements, as part of its Sub-national Review (SNR) of Economic Development and Regeneration. As of 1 April 2009, responsibility for regional planning and the production of a new Single Regional Strategy rests with the South East England Partnership Board, which is supported by staff from the former Assembly and from SEEDA. Our new website is under construction. Meanwhile you'll still find all Assembly-related material on this site. If you have any queries, please contact the South East England Regional Assembly on 01483 555200 or by email at secretariat@southeast-ra.gov.uk.
