Multi-Modal Studies in Transport

An important part of the Government's Ten Year Plan, which was announced in July 2000 is the Multi-Modal transport studies.

The Regional Transport Strategy has taken into consideration the recommendations of the Multi-Modal Studies which have taken place in our region.

The Commons Select Committee on Transport conducted an inquiry into the multi-modal studies in November 2002 (the Regional Assembly was invited to give evidence at this enquiry). The committee's final report was published on 3 April 2003.
