Advisory Groups

The South East England Regional Assembly has a number of advisory groups, which provide Assembly staff with advice, support and technical expertise across a range of disciplines.

A major area of work for these groups during 2004 and 2005 was advising the Assembly on preparation of the South East Plan and helping to ensure that the Plan reflects the views of the region and professional best practice.

Feedback on the South East Plan has been received from the Rural Advisory Group and the Urban Renaissance Advisory Group.

The advisory groups are not dedicated to the South East Plan, also advising the Assembly on areas such as implementation of existing strategies and responses to government consultations.

Notes of advisory group meetings can be found on the main South East England Regional Assembly website within the meetings section.
