Inspectors’ Report

An independent panel of inspectors delivered its assessment on the South East Plan on 29 August 2007 following an Examination-in-Public. The full report, a summary and the Assembly’s response are available on the View Inspectors’ Report page.

What is the Panel?

The Panel is an independent body appointed by the Deputy Prime Minster to prepare and conduct an Examination-in-Public. The Examination-in-Public was an opportunity to debate the Plan in public, and consider selected matters identified as important by the Panel. These matters were decided by the Panel, after consideration of consultation responses.
