Copyright: Unless otherwise stated, all rights, including copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights, in the Site and its contents are owned by (or licensed to) the Assembly or otherwise used by the Assembly as permitted by applicable law. In accessing the Site, you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own private use or internal use within your employer’s organisation, but not for any commercial use. You can download and use the service on a single CPU at a time and you can print out hard copies of any part of the content on the Site for your personal use. Except as hereby permitted, you undertake not to copy, store on other websites, distribute, transmit, re-transmit, broadcast, or modify any part of the Site without the Assembly’s prior written permission or in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Trade Marks: “South East England Regional Assembly”, “SEERA”, and the Assembly’s logo are trade marks of the Assembly. The Assembly may also claim trade mark and service mark rights in other marks contained within the pages of the Site. Other trade marks and names may be used within the pages of the Site to refer to the entities claiming the marks and names or their products. The Assembly disclaims any proprietary interest in the marks and names of others.

Scope of Your Responsibilities: You are wholly responsible for the use of the Site by any person using your terminal or point of presence and are responsible for ensuring that any such person also fully complies with these terms and conditions.

Your Breach: If you are in breach of these terms and conditions you agree to indemnify the Assembly in respect of any and all losses, costs or damages including reasonable legal fees incurred by the Assembly in relation to or arising out of such breach.

Forum and Message Board: From time to time the Assembly may offer you and other interested parties a forum and message board where you can exchange ideas and comments on any matter to do with the Site. If you wish to use such a forum and message board then you must abide by the following rules. You must not misrepresent your name or your affiliation. You may use nicknames as long as you do not pretend to be someone you are not. You must not use the forum and message board to send messages of an obscene, offensive, pornographic, fallacious or fraudulent nature, or that are in any way illegal, immoral or contrary to public order. Postings containing solely or largely advertising material are not permitted. You may provide a link to your site (or to another site) if the content of that site is relevant to your posting. The Assembly reserves the right to monitor, edit or remove the content of the forum and message board, but does not regularly review such content. The Assembly accepts no responsibility for the content of the forum and message board.

The information that the Assembly gathers from you is used by it to ensure that it can give you the best possible service and for the Assembly’s own internal market analysis. Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, the Assembly does not accept any responsibility for any losses or damages whatsoever including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage and/or loss of profits, business revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings arising out of access to or use of or reliance on any information posted on the Site or any hypertext or hyperlink to a web site or any information contained on or accessed through such web site.

Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions contain the entire understanding between you and the Assembly with regard to your use of the Site and no representation, statement or inducement, whether oral or written, not contained herein shall bind either you or the Assembly. The Assembly reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time. Use of the Site is subject to the terms and conditions posted on the Site at the time of your visit. Severability: Should any part of these terms and conditions for any reason be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion and such remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect as if the invalid portion of these terms and conditions had been eliminated.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions and your use of the Site are governed by English law. Disputes arising out of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
