Supporting InformationSupporting InformationThe scale and scope of work to produce the draft South East Plan is reflected in the large amount of supporting information which the Assembly has compiled. The information includes:
Technical ResearchTechnical research undertaken over the past two years can be found on our research reports page. These reports are available to download free of charge. Technical NotesA small number of technical notes were produced as background information for the Assembly's own consultation in early 2005. These have been reviewed and updated to provide background information for the draft plan submitted to Government in March 2006.
The previous versions of all the technical notes can be found on our previous versions of the plan pages - January 2005 and July 2005. Sustainability Appraisal Background InformationThe sustainability appraisal non-technical summary is one of the Plan's six main documents. The full appraisal report and all supporting annexes are on our sustainability page. Previous versions of the appraisal can also be found on this page. Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Implemention PlanPolicy CC2 of the draft Plan addresses climate change, promoting measures to mitigate and adapt to its predicted effects. The draft Plan sets out a commitment to develop and maintain an Implementation Plan to support this policy. A Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Implementation Plan has been prepared on behalf of the Assembly by independent consultants. While it does not necessarily represent Assembly policy, it offers practical advice illustrated, where possible, with examples of good practice. The development of the Implementation Plan is part of the Assembly's contribution to the ESPACE Interreg IIIB project (European Spatial Planning Adapting to Climate Events) and we gratefully acknowledge
the support received from the project. Responses to 2005 ConsultationThe Assembly's analysis of the responses to its consultation on an initial draft South East Plan from January to April 2005 is available below. These files are organised by topic area and by sub-region.
Earlier versions of this information, organised by respondent, can be found on our responses page. Sub-regions Formal Submissions to the Assembly - December 2005All the background information on the South East's nine sub-regions and Isle of Wight Special Policy Area, including the formal submissions made to Assembly in December 2005 on the sub-regional strategies can be found on our sub-regional strategies page.
