The draft South East Plan was submitted to Government on 31 March 2006, and consultation ran from 31 March 2006 until 23 June 2006.
The Plan has been developed over more than two years with extensive input from Assembly members, advisory groups, stakeholders and public.
Our View the Plan page gives access to the full Plan submitted to Government and we also provide consultation information detailing how to comment on the Plan. The timetable below shows the key stages in developing the Plan to date and anticipated dates for the next stages of the Plan process.
The future timetable is indicative and may be subject to change, depending on the level of response to the consultation on the draft plan submitted to the Government.

July 2003 - December 2004
- Preparation of the draft South East Plan: research, workshops, opinion polling, policy drafting.
January - April 2005
- Public consultation on the initial draft of the Plan.
January - Summer 2005
- Continuing work on the sub regional details.
Summer - December 2005
- Public consultation and further work by local authorities on the sub-regional details of the draft Plan. This will include housing allocations to district council areas.
